So, let’s begin with the first activity:
1. Pirate Ship
Materials Required:
- Empty egg carton
- Chinese chopsticks
- Thick colored paper
- A pair of children’s scissors and a pair of adult scissors
- Pirate Stickers
- Small figurines of pirates, monkeys, parrots
- Paint and brushes
- Prints of pictures about pirates (not necessary)
- Glue stick
How to Make a Pirate Ship?
- Be sure to involve the kids in the work.
- Help kids to cut off the lid from the base of the box – it will be our caravel.
- Let your kids paint the outer edges of the box.
- Warm colors will add elegance to the schooner, and cold ones will look frightening. Let’s leave the choice up to your kids.
- Cut out two rectangles and two small squares from thick paper – they will be sails.
- Attach stickers to the sails. If you have printouts, cut out pictures from them and glue them on paper with a glue stick.
- Put sticks on cardboard ledges.
- Put the sails on the masts, pre-piercing small holes in them.
- We have a team on board.
- We give the brig a name – “Walrus”, “Black Pearl” or something of your choice.

2. Bunny

- Egg box (even torn packaging will work for this project)
- Paint colors of your choice
- Black & Red Marker
- Thick paper
- Glue
How to Make Bunny?
- Help the little one to cut out individual cells from the box.
- Color the cells – for the bunny we need one.
- When the paint dries, draw eyes with a marker.
- The mouth can be pointed with a red marker.
- Mark outline ovals and ears on the paper bunny and cut them out.
- Paint the middle in pink and glue it to the already finished head.
- That’s all! A couple of minutes and lots of new toys.
3. Chicken
We will make chicken with Egg trays. This is an easy and funny activity for kids to make cute animals.
Materials we needed:
- Egg box
- Paint colors of your choice
- Black & Red Marker
- Thick paper
- Glue
How to Make Chicken?
- Help the little one to cut out individual cells from the box.
- Color the cells – for the chicken two.
- When the paint dries, draw eyes with a marker.
- The mouth can be pointed with a red marker, or you can use the same black.
- Draw wings (triangles) and legs (a row of zigzags).
- Paint them and attach them to your chicken.
4. Monster
Now make the monster and guide your kids to make the monster. After completing this, your kids will have some animals to play with.

- Black & Red Marker

- A piece of hard colored wire

- Make monster horns by cutting a hardwire with colored insulation.
